Hot Cranberry Salad
3 c. chopped apples, peeled
2 c. whole raw cranberries
1-1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1-1/2 c. sugar
1-1/3 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
1 c. chopped pecans
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1 stick butter, melted
Oil a 2-quart casserole. Place the chopped apples and cranberries in the
casserole. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Cover with sugar. In a medium
mixing bowl, blend just to moisten the oatmeal, pecans, brown sugar
and melted butter. Pour crumb mixture over fruit. Bake uncovered at 325degrees for 1-1/4 hours.
